Since playing Bibelot became hard recently (because of bugs), here is the Bug Report I wanted to post anyway, to help improve this excellent game. Didn't have then much fun since... Eve Online and The Witcher :)

System:
i7-5820K, 16GB RAM, GF1070, Asus X99 Deluxe2, Win 8.1, latest drivers
58 in-game days

one. From the beginning: later on installing, the game was freezing very often, making the game almost unplayable - sudden notwithstanding frame, unable to switch to task director or desktop - difficult reset necessary every time. When for the 2d time I noticed a bright blob frozen adjacent to my head, I thought mayhap that's incoming bullet and maybe that's the problem, or it's sound, to exist precise. Changing Sound Device from Generic to OpenAL Soft made the problem disappear.

iv. CTD afterwards failed purchase of Gauss Gun from Meeker. The whole process is bewitched. He accepts order, sends confirmation (sometimes not), doesn't give the gun. Loading every save made after that, causes CTD. (When I ordered a sniper riffle, he gave it without waiting 24 hours.) - log

Now, fifty-fifty despite making saves often, I don't know which one of them will work or how many saves dorsum I'll have to choose to make the game load. Sometimes it'south 4, sometimes twenty.

Some CTDs don't create logs, some have aforementioned error code, but different length. I take few more of them, let me know if y'all might need them.

O.Yard., it seems that the mod broke. At some point, sooner or later, saves only cause CTDs, and then I think I take to wait for some solution.

I've been having similar crashes with loading saves in my file with 33 in-game days. I become the "tabular array index is nix" more the "bad lawmaking," but it's the aforementioned line in each script as above. My game has been really stable otherwise, though, except for a crash when in Wild Territory for the first time: in multiple savefiles, the first mutant or stalker to become through the Burner tunnel causes a crash.

I have besides been having the event where the game freezes upward and completely hangs my computer, forcing a hard restart every time. The game only freezes and I tin still hear my character and the game running, but nothing changes on screen. So, when it finally closes the game, my screen becomes a jumbled mess of static colors and jittery graphical glitches (this is AFTER the game has already airtight). I couldn't close steam, and the x-ray engine process seemed to still be running. I can open the task manager, simply it doesn't let me close anything and it itself eventually crashes.

The interesting thing for my, I've noticed, is that this crash happens with every mod based on the COC/COM setup. Only Expressionless Air and Misery itself don't seem to crash like this. As far as I can tell, I don't even get an fault in the log, the game just stops and hangs my unabridged figurer processes dead in their tracks.

Likewise that, the but bug issues I've noticed are crash errors that callback to files that don't seem to be. I don't have the log anymore equally I haven't been able to replicate the crash, but one error was referring to a file called "ui_actor_main_menu" in the texture files

*UPDATE*

So I re-read LongZero's original mail service, specifically the function nearly the audio device potentially causing the trouble, and inverse the sound device to "OpenAL", and it definitely seemed to set up the bad crashing problem. I've no idea why that would affect the stability of the mod or cause the engine process to hang indefinitely. I'll have to go and retry the other COC/COM and co. mods with this modify to test if that was the problem with those as well.

P.S. I too wouldn't have found this thread if Vulkodlac hadn't sent the thread to the superlative with his postal service at the time that I happened to look at the forums, then give thanks you immensely Vulkodlac. And of course give thanks you LongZero for your solution, this consequence had been driving me crazy and it honestly feels so relieving to accept information technology sorted out.

Okay, then I am still sometime getting the crash with my whole system hanging, although now information technology seems to be other errors that crusade it instead of just a random CTD. Although the sound gear up did seem to make it more stable, any mistake pretty much all the same forces me to reboot my computer. I actually am now getting the main bill of fare texture file error a lot more:

It would seem that the game is calling to something that doesn't exist?? I have looked in the textures file and there is no file with that proper noun anywhere inside it.

In my current game, I'm playing clear heaven hand haven't fifty-fifty left the Great Swamp yet, then information technology'southward not anything to exercise with loading new areas. It often happens when I'm pulling out a gun, not opening a menu, so I'1000 non sure why the main bill of fare texture would impact anything to cause that error.

If anyone has whatsoever idea why the game is calling to that file that doesn't seem to exist, information technology would exist greatly appreciated.

(I'll also probably make a new thread for this issue, but I figured this thread already has near of the context for the error I've been encountering)

Damn @PeachLion, that'south a weird one. Dumb question, only are your drivers up to date? That sounds like a ghost in the hardware to me. Most of the textures are packed up in database files, and then they wouldn't exist visible in gamedata, but likewise it could be Steam's installation structure -- I have all my Anomaly files on my desktop, no launcher.

Also turning on the keep textures in retentiveness choice could solve information technology. Good luck.

Huh. I've seen the "can't find children of parent" in the console all the time. Which reminds me -- I've also seen the "failed to load_var.drx_quest_stash" or whatsoever it is but equally much, but never in crashes. They're clearly bugs, only I'm not convinced they're the cause of the failure to assert. If I call back correctly, they're leftover from the CoC days.

I can't get my unpacker to work with Anomaly, but if I could I'd love to see what line 12 is.

too, in my case its triggered either by loading certain saved games or a level changer exist that in game or fast travel v1.5 b2.4

I cant seem to save now without this crash being the result if loaded
